Current UEE student, Ashley Alvarez, is a co-owner of the Indigenous Roots farm. She connects her work in farming to the skills and theories she is learning from the UEE program. “One of the reasons why I joined the program was I wanted to learn some westernized education techniques like curriculum development and connect it to my social work background but also my farming.” 📹 video & production by @jujumajic #urbanenviornmentaleducation #socialjustice #indigenousroots #farming #environmentaljustice #graduateschool #equity #seattle
