Kristal Ambrose, Director of Bahamas Plastic Movement, is featured in a new short film. Kristal’s summer youth program on Eleuthera Island Bahamas, illustrates several of the key principles of multicultural environmental education, notably shaping programs to the specific needs and conditions of residents, deeply involving students, parents and communities in program development, activating the positive connection between education and advocacy, and taking a planetary perspective on local issues. Three Circles is a long time supporter of the Bahamas Plastic Movement and its culturally responsive efforts to engage Bahamian youth and communities to respond to ocean plastics and directly engage the Bahamian government on these issues.
